Meet the team
Katy brings over eight years of administrative experience to Peterborough Concussion Clinic, where she ensures the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently each day.​
In addition to her administrative role, Katy serves as Dr. Jeff Bolton’s Chiropractic Assistant, supporting patient care both behind the scenes and throughout each visit.
She takes a gentle and compassionate approach when working with individuals experiencing concussion symptoms, understanding that many patients may be feeling overwhelmed, sensitive, or unsure.

Sammy Nadeau
Registered Massage Therapist
Sammy graduated from the Massage therapy program at Fleming College in 2022, after earning a BA in Human Kinetics from STFX University in Nova Scotia in 2020.
Sammy is committed to providing professional massage in a safe, comfortable and positive space. She can treat a variety of conditions, injuries, general maintenance and chronic pain.
Throughout her treatments Sammy utilizes a large variety of techniques including Gentle (relaxation) massage, traditional Swedish massage, stretching, trigger point therapy and remedial exercise techniques to optimize your relaxation. ​​​
Our Services
In conjunction with CCMI, we offer concussion treatment services & strategies including: ​​​

Exertional testing for return-to-sport readiness and sub-symptom threshold exercise programs for persistent symptoms.

Balance, reaction time, visual processing, and neurocognitive testing (pre-season baseline and/or post-injury/return to sport testing)

Vestibular, oculomotor, and cervical spine rehabilitation

Educational resources

​​​​During the early stage following injury, a period of relative symptom limited physical and cognitive rest is recommended. Research suggests 24 to 48 hours, however, these decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Following a short period of rest, the International Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport (2016) recommends a gradual increase in mental and physical activity by a licensed healthcare practitioner trained in concussion management.
